Job description
Our fitness department is rapidly expanding, and we need a personal trainer to assist our clients in reaching their fitness objectives. You'll be working with clients to assess their fitness levels, develop customized training routines, and ensure they're using equipment safely. This position requires excellent customer service and sales skills as well as a passion for fitness and assisting others with their health and wellness. Responsibilities:
- Ensure all workout programs are appropriate for each client by doing individualized fitness evaluations
- Decrease the chance of injury by teaching clients appropriate techniques for all exercises, especially for specialized equipment
- Create personalized workout routines to help clients accomplish their fitness objectives while remaining within their present physical capability
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust their fitness plans accordingly
- Ability to build and maintain a robust client base
Qualifications:
- Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
- Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
- Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
- This role requires fitness instructor or personal trainer certification
- Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and coworkers
