Training Lead
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are actively seeking a skilled and experienced Training Lead our dynamic team. As Training Lead, you will lead the successful execution of the training program supporting Wheeler Bios manufacturing programs within a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in bioprocessing, pharma or other regulated industry manufacturing and a strong understanding of regulatory compliance coupled with experience developing and working with subject matter experts to develop and deliver training courses and manage curricula for the team. The Training Lead will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, instructional design skills, and leadership capabilities to ensure the continuous development of our employees in a rapidly evolving biotech landscape.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Training Program Development:
- Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs and objectives.
- Design and develop comprehensive training programs, incorporating both technical and soft skills elements.
- Ensure training materials are current, relevant, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Delivery and Facilitation:
- Conduct engaging and effective training sessions for employees at various levels.
- Utilize diverse instructional methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make continuous improvements.
- Technology Integration:
- Stay abreast of advancements in biotechnology and integrate new technologies into training programs.
- Leverage e-learning platforms and other digital tools to enhance the training experience.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with department managers and cross-functional teams to identify training needs and opportunities.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.
- Metrics and Reporting:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for training effectiveness.
- Generate regular reports on training outcomes and make recommendations for improvement.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all training programs adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Implement quality assurance measures to maintain the correct standards in training delivery.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree an advantage.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably in the biotech or pharmaceutical, medical device or other regulated industries.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management abilities.
LOCATION: Wheeler Bios headquarters are in Oklahoma City, OK. Because it is expected that this individual will work and operate onsite, he or she will be required to relocate to the Oklahoma City headquarters.
