What You'll Do :

Job Overview- Do you have a passion for delivering unforgettable experiences? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! As the Event Assistant for Gallo, you'll be responsible for executing corporate and employee events. Your attention to detail and expert organizational skills will ensure that every event exceeds expectations and runs like clockwork. You'll assist in preparing and executing events at our winery sites. Join us and help us create unforgettable experiences at Gallo!

Job Responsibilities-

• Assist in planning, preparation, execution and closing of events at winery sites.
• Manage set up/breakdown of events and wine inventory for central valley events.
• Responsible for day-to-day business and execution of assigned property.
• Maintain and stock inventory for events and general inventory.
• Coordinate with vendors, ensure proper maintenance of hospitality fleet vehicles.
• Serve as primary contact for day-of or site-specific event inquiries.
• Provide event feedback, offer suggestions for future event opportunities.

What You Will Need:

• High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years of tasting room, customer service, sales, wine marketing or hospitality experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Associate's degree plus 2 years of tasting room, customer service, sales, wine marketing, or hospitality experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus tasting room, customer service, sales, wine marketing or hospitality experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
• Required to be 21 years of age or older.
• Required to lift and move product and equipment weighing up to 45 lbs.
• Required to engage in frequent walking and standing.
• Experienced in reading and comprehending simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Experienced in writing simple correspondence and procedures.
• Required to work flexible schedules to include evenings and weekends (occasional overtime).
• Required to travel to various locations within the region to promote the winery.
• Candidates for this position must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record. Required to obtain a California driver's license or appropriate state driver's license within 30 days of hire.
• Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
• Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation :

• Hiring Salary Range Posted: $21.92 - $29.62 / hourly 
• Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
