Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Installation Technician to join our team in the Bay Area. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation of POS equipment at grocery store sites, ensuring seamless implementation and optimal performance. This role requires strong technical expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the installation of POS equipment, including hardware and software, at grocery store sites across the Bay Area.
- Coordinate installation schedules and logistics to ensure timely and efficient deployment of equipment.
- Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and address any potential challenges.
- Configure POS systems according to client specifications, ensuring functionality and compatibility with existing infrastructure.
- Test and troubleshoot POS equipment to identify and resolve any technical issues.
- Provide training and support to store staff on the use and maintenance of POS systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, customer support, and product development, to ensure a seamless installation process.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installation activities, including equipment inventory and installation reports.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in POS technology to continuously improve installation processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in POS installation or related field.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency with POS hardware and software.
- Experience with networking and troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Certification in POS installation or related field is a plus.
