Staffing/HR Assistant
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a vibrant, self-starter with a can-do attitude who is interested in a rewarding career focusing on multiple aspects of our seasonal business. We are searching for a driven individual to assist with social engagement projects, recruiting and staff management. We are looking for a passionate and creative professional to work in our fast paced corporate office!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the Recruiting / HR Department with seasonal recruiting process.
- Assist with interviewing, hiring and training employees; data entry.
- Assist with proper scheduling and staffing during the summer season.
- Assist with employee relations, scheduling company events.
- Provide administrative support to the Recruiting / HR Department.
- This job may require driving a company car for business purposes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher); Social Networks (Facebook & Twitter)
- Strong organizational skills with ability to run multiple projects simultaneously
- Must possess a dynamic, warm, and outgoing personality
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative position or prior recruiting/staffing experience
- Bachelor's Degree preferred (final year students will be considered)
- Aquatics background and experience (lifeguarding, swimming) is preferred
- Current American Red Cross Lifeguard and/or Ellis and Associates Instructor certificate preferred
- Must be available to work longer hours during the busy summer season
- Must be able to maintain and file confidential records, such as employment and payroll records
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced multicultural environment
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Job Dates: March 1 - September 2. This is a seasonal position, however qualified candidates with excellent performance may be considered for full-time, year-round opportunities
- Work hours are generally 9am-6pm (M-F), longer hours, Saturdays and Holidays required in peak season
- Pay Rate: $18 - $22 per hour based on experience
