The Assistant Director-Federal Aid Programs & Systems has three main areas of responsibility. This position has primary responsibility for managing the Federal Direct Loan and Pell Grant program data to ensure the accuracy of the data, including monthly reconciliation and ensuring compliance with fund management regulations. Assist the "Associate Director – Systems & Technology with PeopleSoft software testing, upgrades, and issue resolution, and serve as back-up for running various PeopleSoft processes. Maintain and update all staff member access to the U.S. Department of Education's financial aid data systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
Administration and management of the Federal Direct Loan program:
Administration and management of the Federal Pell Grant Program:
Assist the Associate Director with PeopleSoft Financial Aid Systems Management:
Manage and coordinate all loan exit counseling and default notification processes.
Serve as our Federal Student Aid / Student Aid Information Gateway (FSA/SAIG) Destination Point System Administrator with the U.S. Department of Education (ED)
Manage the research and correction of duplicate PeopleSoft student ID numbers.
Other projects as assigned by supervisor.
Telework may be available for this position up to two days per week following the completion of 90 days of service in good standing.

Salary and Benefits
Targeted Hiring Range is $75,000 - $85,000 and full University benefits that include 22 days of annual leave, up to 15 holidays, personal and sick days; excellent health, life, and retirement plans; and tuition remission.
