Job description

Our company, Sonetics, is a successful and dynamic company that provides innovative solutions for challenging team communication environments. We are currently seeking a Customer Support Technician to join our busy Service Team focused on delivering superior support to our customers.


In this role, you will provide technical assistance to customers via the telephone regarding the application, installation, and operation of Sonetics' products. You will troubleshoot and repair customer returned products, and answer customer telephone and e-mail inquiries in order to increase customer satisfaction. In addition, you will:

• Troubleshoot and repair warranty and non-warranty products in order to meet quality, cost, and turn-around goals.
• Answer customer telephone and e-mail inquiries regarding the repair of their product in order to meet customer satisfaction.
• Process returned items into and out of the Service department in order to meet lead time goals for customer service.
• Receive and log customer returned items.

As a Customer Support Technician, you have a strong electronics repair and rework background, you excel at providing technical phone support to a variety of customers, and thrive on exceeding customer expectations. In addition, you have the following experience and skills:

• At least 2 years of technical training in electronics (Radio installation experience preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and repair analog and digital circuits
• Ability to solder through-hole and surface mount components
• Skilled in use of computers for data entry, e-mail, and document writing; prefer expertise in MS Office
• Ability to distinguish colors
• Good documentation writing skills
• Ability to analyze customer problems and provide quick and easy resolutions to their questions.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
