Job description
We're looking for an all-star marketer to join us as the Social Media / Content Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's online presence. Your goal will be singular - help us drive qualified traffic, leads and sales by establishing us as the No .1 authority in claims management. You will lead the development and execution of social media strategies, manage content creation with a team, and leverage your expertise in customer targeting and paid advertising to enhance our digital footprint. This is a unique opportunity to help build awareness in an industry that is ripe for this kind of expansion. Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement effective social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
- Premium Content Creation: Produce compelling written content across various platforms leading with a customer-first mentality. Blogs, socials, emails, sales slicks, webinars, newsletters, etc.
- Customer Targeting: Utilize an intricate understanding of customer targeting mechanisms to tailor content and campaigns for specific audiences. Including SEO efforts for website and content.
- Paid Advertising: Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns to drive results and meet key performance indicators.
- Email Campaigns: Lead the design and execution of email campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies.
- Analytics: Ownership of analytics and reporting of content marketing efforts and results.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience running social media (emphasis: LinkedIn), content creation, and direct email and drip campaigns.
- In-depth knowledge of customer social targeting mechanisms and paid advertising.
- Hyperactive attention to detail and a passion for new technologies, such as AI.
- Passion for writing, editing, creativity, imagination, and the ability to use mixed mediums effectively. You are a storyteller who understands customer pain points.
- Strong familiarity with marketing principles. You are a learner, and have an ability to think like an educator. You understand what the audience wants and how they want to consume it.
- An understanding of common editorial style guides, e.g., AP, Chicago, etc.
- Familiarity with principles of marketing.
- Superb people skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
- Experience with WordPress, site building, and website analytics
- Ability to work with a team and independently
- Drive, curiosity, and enthusiasm
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, PR, or related field.
- Proven track record of successful social media campaigns.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative content across various platforms.
