Description: 10 Month - 187 days as per current PSEA agreement
Certification-as required by the PA Dept of Education
CF (Clinical fellows) welcome to apply, supervision available
ASHA CEUs provided to support required training
Reimbursement for PA State license
SLPs complete direct services in educational settings, provide evaluations, IEPs, and medical access billing
SLPs provided with current technology to support daily work
Travel reimbursement as per the Agreement
SLP teams include support with Assistive technology, Feeding and assessments
Job Summary: The overall objective of speech-language pathology services is to optimize an individual's ability to communicate, thereby improving quality of life and educational achievement.
Qualifications: - Certification as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
- Must have at least 3.0 GPA overall.
- Acceptable Act 34, Act 151 and Act 114 clearances.
- Must be able to interpret, analyze and problem solve.
- Must be able to converse and interact with individuals with diverse levels of education and abilities.
- Must be able to read and understand documents relating to federal, state and local mandates as well as materials relating to education.
Working Conditions: Instructional environment. Some positions may be itinerant and require travel in personal vehicle.
