IGT Global is seeking a Data Center Supervisor for our Tallahassee, Florida lottery operations center. The Data Center Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the activities of a Data Center team of IGT Computer Operators who support our lottery data systems. As supervisor, you will ensure overall efficiency, excellent service, data integrity, and employee performance.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for assisting in the management of the day-to-day operation of the Control Room and its interactions with the lottery and vendors to ensure continuous system up-time and the highest level of operational efficiency.
- Ensures control room operates in a continuous and trouble-free manner.
- Solves problems with Computer Operators, Software Engineers, QA, and Lottery Staff as appropriate.
- Coordinates and schedules Computer Operators, direct work, and evaluates operational performance.
- Maintains inventory and orders supplies when vital.
- Ensures performance plans, memos, and reports are distributed, understood, applied and made available to all Computer Operators and Lottery Staff.
- Assists in revising or establishing new systems to improve productivity and computer efficiency.
- Develops procedures and control mechanisms to improve operations and reduce operational errors.
- Interfaces daily with customers and vendors.
- Monitors quality assurance and security of data.
- Ensures daily production of systems to include software and hardware changes and serving as client liaison.
- Ability to define and perform verification that the test process has been performed accurately, analyze results and recommend test process improvements.
- Monitors, tracks and manages the configuration, accessing delivery process of software coding for the lottery—including games, parameters, odds and claims.
- Verifies and analyzes the accuracy and quality of the hardware and software products through maintenance, attention to detail and work environment.
- Provides recommendations to the manager for systems needs and all external and internal factors related to the control room.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Be part of a regular on-call rotation.
- Ability to work both day and night shifts as needed.
Qualifications

Education Required (high school, college degree, training, or certifications requirements)
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study, or equivalent experience
Experience Required (years of experience, specific industry or previous job experience requirements)
- Previous working experience as senior operator, lead, or supervisor level
Skills Required (software, technical, industry, equipment, lifting, and physical requirements)

Preferred Education, Experience or Skills (preferred degree(s), software, experience, equipment, etc)
- Computer, Technology, or related certifications
- Basic understanding of lottery operations including systems, sales, retailer network management, POS (including wagers, validations, messages), game features, procurement and administration.
- General lottery operations including sales, security, back-up and internal control systems, retailer networks, prize payouts and ticket distribution.
- Technical knowledge operating systems utilities used to diagnose and identify hardware and software problems and failures
- Able to navigate through Unix/Linux/AIX/VMS/DOS and perform basic commands
- Solid understanding of FTP/SFTP protocols
- Extensive knowledge of Office suite and PC operating systems
- Intermediate knowledge of Retailer POS, call center tools.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $37,500 - $75.000 The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
