Job Description Opportunity Award-winning toy company YuMe Brands recently opened a new office, showroom, and distribution center in Los Angeles to better serve our US-based customers. We seek to fill multiple sales and operation roles, including an immediate requirement for an experienced E-Commerce Specialist to work onsite (4/1) from our El Segundo office. This opportunity offers tremendous potential for advancement, ideal for someone seeking career development.
The E-Commerce Specialist will be part of a team responsible for managing online sales of our growing line of licensed toys, costumes, and consumer products. Ideally, you will have e-commerce experience with toys or consumer products on Amazon.com, Walmart.com, Shopify, WordPress (Woo), or MercadoLibre platforms, including product listing, inventory management, and customer service. Expertise in marketing within the sites, including sponsored products, is a plus, as is experience working with digital ad creation on Facebook, Google, and TikTok.
Key Responsibilities: - Assist with managing our Amazon Vendor Central, Seller Central, Shopify, WP, and Walmart.com accounts.
- Troubleshoot any problems on the above platforms.
- Assist with social media marketing on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, and Twitter.
- Work with outside sales rep groups, distributor partners, and retail buyers (B&M and Online).
- Use Microsoft Excel to undertake retail sales analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate on developing retail initiatives, and work closely with retail licensing category development, marketing, and agency partners to ensure all activity is in line with the brand strategy and guidelines.
- Project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
- Manage shipments to and from the 3PL warehouse.
- Research the latest licensed consumer products, trends, and insights across platforms (online, in-store, social media, blog, print/digital materials).
- Research competitors' distribution channels and products and continuously compile information about competitive new launches, advertising, and formulas.
- Promote the Company's mission and values both internally and externally.
- Assess operational issues concerning competitiveness.
- Create meeting recaps and wrap-up documents.
- Other duties as required.
Principals only, please; no recruiters or phone calls. Qualifications Requirements: - Minimum of two years experience and a degree that includes coursework in digital marketing, math, computing, economics, or finance.
- Previous sales, marketing, retail, or e-commerce experience is required, particularly Amazon.com.
- WordPress or Shopify skills are a plus.
- Interest in sales, marketing promotions, entertainment licensing, and consumer products, particularly toys.
- Candidates should work well in a team setting.
- Must be highly detail-oriented and organized.
- Flexible with the ability to work under pressure and multi-task to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A self-starter with high energy and a strong work ethic, able to move projects forward.
- Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Internet research savvy and advanced analytical skills are required.
