Job description
Position Overview:
As a Senior Tax Accountant youll be instrumental in our tax department offering expert guidance and assistance across all tax compliance and planning endeavors. Your role will entail closely collaborating with clients to grasp their financial objectives analyzing intricate tax matters and devising strategic tax strategies to optimize their fiscal standing. Additionally youll oversee junior staff review tax returns and ensure adherence to pertinent regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and review a spectrum of tax returns including individual corporate partnership and trust filings.
- Conduct indepth tax research and analysis to underpin tax planning initiatives and resolve complex tax quandaries.
- Engage with clients to craft and execute tax strategies aligned with their financial aspirations.
- Dispense proactive tax planning counsel to curtail tax liabilities and maximize advantages for clients.
- Remain abreast of evolving tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and unearth taxsaving avenues.
- Mentor and train junior team members imparting tax principles procedures and best practices.
- Assist with tax audits and inquiries including addressing tax notices and representing clients before tax authorities.
- Cultivate robust client relationships through clear communication responsiveness and stellar service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in tax accounting with a focus on individual and business taxation.
- Proficient grasp of tax law regulations and compliance protocols.
- Proven aptitude for dissecting complex tax issues and formulating innovative tax strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills adept at engaging with clients and colleagues.
- Meticulous attention to detail coupled with strong organizational and timemanagement capabilities.
- Proficiency in tax software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
