Architectural Project Manager

Job description
The Project Manager will lead the team and manage multiple projects, while adhering to deadlines and budget requirements for multifamily projects.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and monitor projects from initiation through delivery.
- Develops project plans and allocates resources.
- Develops and monitors schedule of projects.
- Assumes day-to-day responsibility for ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget.
- Establish milestones, anticipates issues, and monitors adherence to project scope, requirements, and schedules.
- Directs the design and documentation process, and development of alternative solutions, and directs creation presentation graphics used to communicate concepts to the client or for agency approval.
- Review architectural drawings for federal, state and local code compliance.
- Responsible for coordination of project team’s work, including architectural drawings and specifications, and consultants’ work.
- Directs management of and communication with consultants.
- Researches and develops design and product solutions and presents them for consideration.
- Assists during the construction phase, including OAC meetings, site visits, creating field reports, and reviewing product or shop drawing submittals.
- Modifies created designs on request of management or client.
- Generates redline changes and revisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent in education or experience.
- 8-12 years of experience in architectural practice
- RECENT experience in the US with Multifamily projects required.
- Architectural registration preferred with current license, NCARB registration desired and LEED Green Associate Accreditation desired.
- must be proficient in Autocad. Revit experience a plus.
- Must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere, and meet deadlines.
- Experience putting document packages together;
- Consultant coordination;
- Experience directing at least one other team member.
- Wood-framed construction experience required.
