Job description
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience managing a Material Handling Equipment (MHE)/Shor Based Material Support Equipment (SMSE) maintenance operation or equivalent (such as vehicle fleet construction equipment maintenance operation). A minimum of six (6) years’ experience operating and repairing MHE/SMSE which includes a minimum of 3 years of experience repairing and managing ordinance handling equipment.
Certification: Must possess a valid state driver’s license as well as being qualified to operate a variety of MHE/SMSE being maintained. Completion of 30-hour OSHA General Industry Outreach Training/holder of OSHA General Industry 30-hour card; OSHA-approved Overhead Crane Safety course; ASE Master Certification in Automotive and Truck Repair. Ten (10) years of vehicle maintenance experience may be substituted for ASE Master Certification. Other: Must be physically able to be on their feet for several hours each day. Additionally, must be able to lift 50lbs in order to operate hand dollies, pallet jacks to move parts and materials.Job tags
