What Data Governance contributes to Cardinal Health
Data Governance is responsible for the disciplined execution of governance programs and practices across all data.
- Applies knowledge and ability to define and/or operate against the vision/strategy of data and governance.
- Demonstrates an understanding of data governance modeling, tools, and practices.
- Identifies and manages data quality in alignment with the needs of the business and/or industry.
- Ensures complete protection of data with all policies as it relates to visibility and distribution.
- Identifies and communicates insights and potential upstream/downstream impacts and opportunities to customers, business and/or enterprise leaders.
- Exemplifies effective communication and change management skills to varying audiences.
Accountabilities in this Role
The Advisor, Data Management and Governance will be part of the Digital Solutions – Products and Platforms organization and function as a Data Management and Governance Specialist responsible for advancing and maturing Data Governance capabilities across the enterprise. Primary focus will be on critical finance data processes/projects, such as transfer price annual refresh and lighthouse projects as well as use cases that align with business priorities. This role will act as a change agent and work directly with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Data Leads and SMEs to:

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years’ experience in related field preferred
- Large ERP (i.e. SAP, Oracle) experience preferred
- Master Data/Data Management/Data Governance experience preferred
- Strong Excel skills required
- Comfortable analyzing data and applying it to business process
- Strong attention to detail and accountability to work independently
- Looks to continuously improve processes

Anticipated salary range: $78,500 - $112,100
