Job Description

• Follow all Service Plans to ensure that care is Person Centered and accurately reflects what is outlined in each plan, which includes helping individuals reach their goals and overcome behavioral challenges.
• Support levels could include but are not limited to verbal assistance, Partial and/or full physical assistance. Performing personal care tasks as needed.
• Employees may need to handle inappropriate behavior from the individuals such as- verbal and/or physical aggression
• Assist the individual(s) in the community on outings such as appointments, shopping and personal outings, etc.
• Use public transportation on community outing (free of charge for support stuff) – These outings can happen any time of the year, we cannot decline to assist the individual due to weather conditions- unless it is deemed a health and safety risk.

Qualifications

• Be 18+ years or older 
• 1 year of caregiving experience (preferred)
