Lead Data Analytics Manager–NIKE, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Manage development and execution of reporting and analytics products across a focused area of the Nike business value stream to enable data driven business decisions that will drive performance and lead to the accomplishment of annual goals; translate complex business problem statements into analysis requirements and work with internal customers to define data product details based on expressed partner needs; document systems/analytics solutions to the business, translating complex functionality into business relevant language; lead structured, end-to-end analysis to inform product strategy, data architecture and reporting decisions; prototype and drive future state architecture to serve as a single source of truth for analytics use cases across Nike; plan and lead development of quantitative research, casual inference, and predictive models to understand and optimize drivers of growth and performance; drive the solving of complex data problems demonstrating analytical and statistical rigor; develop SQL queries and data visualizations to fulfill ad-hoc analysis requests and ongoing reporting needs demonstrating standard query syntax; document data architecture solutions, business requirements, training material and business processes for both business and technical audiences; develop frameworks for repeatable validation of data integrity within data products supporting accurate and consistent reporting and analytics; serve as domain specialist on data and business process within area of focus; drive adoption of and socialize the data products with end users through user training; support standard methodologies in reporting and analysis: data integrity, unit testing, data quality control, system integration testing, modeling, validation, and documentation; and monitor and solve operational or data issues in the data pipelines. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY.
Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Technology, Computer Science or Electronics Engineering and six (6) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in an analytics-related occupation.
Experience must include the following:
Data warehouse including AWS Athena, and Snowflake;
Designing analytics solutions;
Agile Management Systems such as Jira and Version One;
SQL;
Database management systems such as Teradata, and SAP BI;
Cloud computing environment S4 Hanna, SAP B4 HANA, and Amazon Web Services (AWS);
Testing applications software; and
BI Visualization tools such as Tableau, SAP Advance Analytics, and SAP BEX
