The Job - Will support the customer in the in the design, development, implementation, and/or integration of IA architectures, systems or system components.
- Ensures functionality, architecture and design of systems is secure.
- Prepares systems and network designs for multiple enclaves, environments and data types.
- Must incorporate cybersecurity policy, procedures and structure to design, develop and implement systems in a secure networking environment.
- Provide information and system security engineering, life cycle solutions, and system security testing
- Application and employment of cybersecurity expertise to systems and projects, to ensure that the appropriate security features and safeguards are designed, integrated, and implemented by all information systems throughout the system development life cycle
- Assess security needs, implementing security solutions and determining potential risk by evaluating cybersecurity compliance protocols
- Understanding Security Categorization and Control standards
- Understanding of the Risk Management Framework
- NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 1 - 5, NIST SP 800-60 Vol. 1 & 2, NIST SP 800-160 Vol. 1 & 2, Security authorization, Cross domain solution
QUALIFICATIONS: - TS/SCI w/ polygraph
- Multiple levels of seniority are available. Must have 6+ years of cybersecurity/information assurance IA System Architect and Engineer experience
- Must have recent experience using technology to support access/control, authorization, identification and authentication, PKI, network, and enterprise security architectures.
- Ability to demonstrate experience applying security risk assessment methodologies to systems in the development, modeling, and assessment processes.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science preferred, may be substituted for additional experience (6 years)
- Knowledge of IC Security regulations
- CISSP – ISSEP or CISSP – ISSAP required
