Company Summary :

Our client is a law firm that specializes in the plaintiff side of employment related lawsuits, with a focus in wage and hour class and representative actions and single-plaintiff harassment/discrimination/retaliation claims. The Associate will be responsible for:

Assisting with class-action matters, specializing in wage and hour class action and single-plaintiff harassment/discrimination/retaliation claims. A few examples of the types of practice areas that the Associate will be handling are: Wage and Hour Class Actions, Consumer Class Actions, Data Breach Class Actions, Misclassification of Employees, and Failure to Provide Minimum and Overtime Wages.

The Associate should have the following qualifications:

• Licensed and in good standing with the CA State Bar
• 1 year of relevant experience in litigation, on either plaintiff or management side.
• Prior experience with California State and Federal civil procedures (i.e., handling discovery, law & motion, etc.)
• A J.D. from an accredited ABA institution
