Transportation Manager

Principle Responsibilities

● Operate assigned vehicles in a safe manner within posted speed limits and regulations

● Provide daily staff transportation to dining hall and work locations at various drop off points

● Provide offsite transportation for guests and staff

● Conducting pre-operation mechanical and safety inspections of all vehicles daily

● Daily maintenance for fueling and fluid checks, properly reporting defects and damages

● Communicate verbally and effectively via a two-way radio with manager and other drivers

● Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership

● Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook

Qualifications & Training

● 21 years of age or older

● CDL-B with passenger endorsement preferred

● Must pass a DMV motor vehicle review

● Must obtain a Summit Driving Permitted and proper endorsements

● Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination

● Be or become a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America

Performance Results

● Attend shift work on a needed basis

● Not late to schedule times more than 2 times

Physical Requirements

● Up to 8 hours a day of either sitting, walking, driving and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
