Job description
Yutan Public Schools is accepting applications for a grades 7-12 school counselor. Yutan is a community of 1,400 located just west of the Omaha metro area on highway 92 in Saunders county. 7-12 enrollment is 215 and YHS competes in class C-2 NSAA activities. Yutan has a caring and engaged staff, exceptional academic and assessment performance, a proud tradition of activity and athletic excellence, and a supportive community. We are seeking individuals dedicated to leading a comprehensive school counseling program that encompasses academic guidance, career planning, social and emotional growth, and the ability to collaborate with mental health team members.
This position starts on or about August 8, 2024, and includes a 10-day extended contract (195 days total). Coaching opportunities are available, but not required.
