Job description

Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Property Specialist 1's for a contract opportunity in Ogden, UT.

*This position is 100% ONSITE.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Property Specialist is needed. This position will provide support to multiple LMTF functions, with the primary responsibility of material, equipment, and consumable procurement, as well as equipment, material, and inventory procurement lifecycle management. This position will report directly to the LMTF Test Program Manager. This position will also provide support for the escort of subcontractors, and providing other support to operations functions as required.
The property specialist will gain valuable experience in all site operations by working with diverse team members across all disciplines, and develop many critical skills necessary for growth and development in the defense space.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Directly responsible for purchasing material, equipment, and consumables <$10k.
o Supporting the site through the entire lifecycle of material, equipment, and consumable procurement.
o Support operations team with inventory and supply management, escorting of subcontractors, facilities, and other duties as assigned.

Project/day-to-day activities they will be working on:
Receiving requirements from engineering/program team and purchasing needed items. Utilize purchase database and maintain purchase expense accounts. Support the property manager with inventory and material management

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Integrity, excellent communication, Purchasing experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Walk, sit, stand, bend, ascend and descend stairs, carry 25lbs.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
DoD/Military purchasing, FAR/DFAR experience, accounting.

EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience). Education must be accredited.

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
This position will be performed under 4-10 work schedule, with overtime as required. This schedule will commence once clearance has been adjudicated, however flexibility is required for this position in order to support operations.

MISCELLANEOUS:
The candidate selected to fill this assignment must successfully pass a credit check performed by client.
