Responsibilities:
- Employ strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport when assisting potential customers with their vehicle selections
- Drive current and future auto sales by maintaining an accurate customer database
- Coordinate test drives, demonstrations, and presentations with professionalism and courtesy
- Adhere to dealership standards and policies of superb customer satisfaction throughout the sales and negotiation process
- Receive customers in a welcoming and professional manner to drive car sales
- Engage with customers on the sales floor and over the phone as needed to meet the customer’s needs
- Successful completion of appropriate paperwork and documentation for all vehicle sales
- Review all payment options with customers
- Walk customers through the Grote Automotive car buying experience from start to finish
- Contact past customers to ensure they are satisfied with their vehicles
Qualifications:
- A valid state-issued driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required
- Sales experience in a showroom or auto dealership setting preferred
- Stellar communication skills, negotiation skills, time management, and interpersonal skills are all crucial for meeting customer needs
- Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent; bachelor’s degree is considered a plus
