Job description

Tentamus Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a friendly, trustworthy, professional, and reliable individual to fill the significant role of Courier/Sample Processing Technician who will collect and process client samples in preparation for analytical laboratory testing.

Main responsibilities:

• Using the company provided vehicle, pickup samples from clients.
• Check sample integrity and temperature during pickup.
• Complete documentation acknowledging receipt of samples. Communicate with clients to obtain and clarify missing or unclear information.
• Communicate and coordinate with the Sample Receiving technician regarding pickups.
• Assist with maintaining sample inventory.
• Prepare samples for analysis.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Friendly customer service oriented and positive attitude. You will be the face of the company.
• Valid VA driver's license with good driving record.
• Prioritization, time management and initiative.
• Lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Attention to detail and good handwriting.

Education requirements

• HS degree or equivalent.
