Job description
Job Summary:
Beaver Toyota of Cumming is looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our hospitality team in Cumming, Georgia. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and delivering delicious food with the support of the restaurant management staff. The Line Cook must possess excellent customer service skills and be a team player.
Compensation & Benefits:
The position is full time, salaried position with a compensation rate of $15-$17/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare all menu items according to established recipes, standards, and procedures
- Assist in setting up and managing an efficient work area
- Monitor food temperatures and keep all food items properly stocked
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and organizational standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and all equipment
- Assist in ordering supplies and resources for the department
- Participate in menu planning
- Any other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a line cook role preferred but not required
- ServSafe certification and/or other food safety certifications preferred
- Ability to carry out, understand and follow verbal and written directions
- Ability to work in high-pressure environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Organizational and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to communicate in English
