Pacific Central Coast Health Centers (PHC) a service of Common Spirit Health is seeking a Trauma/Acute Care Surgeon to support our growing program! Services will be provided at Marian Regional Medical Center (MRMC) an award-winning, 191 bed facility located in Santa Maria, CA. Details:

• Full time, permanent position.
• Employed by PHC, ambulatory service line of Common Spirit Health
• Services provided at one facility Marian Regional Medical Center (MRMC) is a Level II Trauma Center located in Santa Maria, CA (Santa Barbara County). It is the largest hospital in the area which serves a population of over 300,000 (San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara County)
• Current surgical group consists of 5 surgeons. Call ratio is 1:5, 1:6
• Collegial group of dedicated surgeons committed to providing quality services to our valued community
• Hospital has ED Physicians, Critical Care Physicians, Gastroenterologists and other specialists to support. We also have PA's in house to support surgeons on call and in the OR
• Seasoned nursing and support staff
• Dedicated hospital/leadership team
• Looking to hire ASAP

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in the U.S. Visa sponsorships are not offered
• Active CA medical license or ability to obtain CA medical license
• Trauma Fellowship trained in ACGME program
• BC or BE in Trauma and/or General Surgery
• Trauma Medical Director experience highly preferred
• Leadership experience required
• Strong communications skills
