Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine
Position: Admissions Coordinator
Department: Student Affairs
Pay: $45,000 Annually
Schedule: M - F (Full time, 40 hours per week)
Location: On-site at the Provo, Utah Campus
1. In collaboration with the Administrative Director of Admissions and in support of the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, ensures coordination of applicant recruiting activities, files, and communications.
· Contributes to the College’s compliance with and in the development of required documentation as related to accreditation of all programs to which departmental content is contributed. (Faculty adequacy model, self-assessment, peer review, providing input/feedback, etc.).
· Contributes to the production of various College materials [strategic planning, directory, College website, etc.] (reviewing drafts, providing input/feedback, etc.)
· Is knowledgeable of and remains in compliance with all institutional policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook for Noorda-COM
3. Contributes to team effort by performing other duties as needed/assigned.
Qualifications
Education : Baccalaureate in any discipline with focus on communications, human resources, higher education, or business management. Equivalent years of experience may substitute for education.
Experience : 1-3 years of office administration,
communications, or student affairs administration.
Skills amp;
Abilities : Highly
professional with honest, genuine, direct communication style, excellent interpersonal
skills, and emotional maturity with the essential ability to demonstrate tact,
discretion, and job diplomacy. Prefer experience working in higher education
admissions/recruiting, office management, or academic advising. Familiarity
with osteopathic medical education is highly preferred.
Must be:
