Job description

This position is for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Under general supervision of the Director of Rehab, the per diem Occupational Therapist conducts patient assessments, participates in the development of the plan of care, implements treatment, and provides care according to patient specific age and/or developmental needs. Demonstrates flexibility and good communication skills and collaborates with other health care team members in the delivery of care.

Two-years’ experience in pediatrics in a hospital setting.

Required: Licensure by the California Board of Occupational Therapy. Certification by National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). CCS paneled or working to fulfill requirements. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider Certification. Recommended: Membership with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the Occupational Therapy Association of California (OTAC).
