Our client, a national and growing corporation in the Chicagoland area, is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their team! This Payroll Specialist will be responsible for high-volume, multi-state payroll processing for multiple sites within the organization
Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:
Expertly manage the bi-monthly payroll processing for employees across multiple states in the United States, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations
Skillfully generate and meticulously post payroll accounting entries, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining precise financial records
Develop comprehensive payroll reports that provide valuable insights into key financial metrics, enabling informed decision-making by the leadership team
Handle garnishment, wage requests, and 401(k) contributions with efficiency and accuracy, ensuring timely and compliant processing to meet legal and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements, leveraging a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to streamline workflows and enhance overall efficiency
Payroll Specialist Requirements:
3+ years of Payroll Experience
ADP experience required
ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
