Service Technician

Our client's US team is in a nice modern facility in Waukesha, WI. The team of 7 employees takes care of all different customer after-sales needs. They offer on-site service, in-house repairs and sell spare parts for machines operating in the food sector. The machines get designed and manufactured in their headquarters in Germany or their subsidiary in Australia.

Food production is their passion, food safety their top priority. Their network of companies belongs to an internationally successful cheese producer. Besides their technical expertise, their direct access to the food industry ensures their know-how in production and technology.

They support their clients with innovative, powerful technology and the right equipment. They are specialists in the development and engineering of machinery and plants for the production, processing, and packaging of food. They are seeking motivated, knowledgeable team members to join their high performing team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Service and repair our food machinery in the field (US & CA)
• Create good relationships with customers to meet their needs
• Repair customer components in the US facility
• Travel about 50% predominantly by car

• Troubleshooting skills (electric & pneumatic drawings)
• Driver's license, passport for international travel
• Electrical knowledge (Wiring from schematics, VFDs, Servos)
• PLC troubleshooting skills (Siemens & Allen Bradley)
• Food service experience (hygienic rules)
• Motivated, independent, and self-disciplined
