Responsibilities
- Interact with the product management team in understanding requirements and provide estimates, high level design and detailed design for product and customer enhancements
- Design, code, install, and maintain systems software programs as wells as application and systems analysis as needed
- Evaluate the system needs of internal and external clients to recommend solutions
- Diagonose and recommend solutions to issues
- Configure products or customized technology solutions based on technical specifications
- Assist in establishing coding, software design approaches and standards and following them.
- Provided support to clients in testing any applicable custom code
- Run diagnostics and conduct software tests to resolve system issues
- Oversee technology solutions delivery, consulting with relevant personnel to assist in migration and troubleshooting
- Developing and enhancing Appian based solutions
- Ability to configure products or customized technology solution based on technical specifications
- Designing and developing core extensions to an innovative application framework
- Adhere to Agile Sprints, Delivery Framework, and SDLC best practices
Requirements
- Education – Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Computer Science
- At least 6+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in installation, upgrades, configuration and troubleshooting of ‘packaged application code/solutions’ to internal / test and production environments
- Previous application deployment of the DNA / surround product applications is considered an asset
- A technology leader with vision and a view to continuous improvement
- Experience in Incident, Problem & change management
- Performed Database Refresh tasks for Test and Production Servers
- Familiarity with ITIL and SDLC life cycle phases
- Install/execute and fine-tuned Stored Procedures, SQL Queries and User Defined Functions.
- Handled Performance Tuning and Optimization with strong analytical troubleshooting skills for quick issue resolution in mission-critical environments
- Strong working knowledge of Windows operating environment
- Strong working knowledge of IIS
- Extensive experience with SQL programming language and scripting
- Oracle Database Knowledge
- Ability to work on complex technical issues
- SQL, PL/SQL, and Hyperion SQR Production Reporting
