Job Title: Junior to Mid-Level Attorney Remote Position - California Labor and Employment Law Firm
The client is a California-based labor and employment law firm founded by two former Biglaw partners. The firm was created with a single goal in mind: to provide employees with the same legal firepower and employment law expertise that up until now only corporate elites could retain. Our firm is seeking a motivated and dedicated Junior or Mid-Level Attorney to join our team. As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for supporting our senior attorneys in all aspects of litigation, including single-plaintiff wrongful termination matters and class and representative actions.
Responsibilities:
Draft demand letters, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Conduct legal research and analysis
Prepare responses to discovery requests
Attend depositions, hearings, and trials
Interview clients and potential clients
Keep abreast of legal developments in labor and employment law
Requirements:
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Active member of the California State Bar in good standing
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Demonstrated interest and experience in labor and employment law
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databasesJob tags
