Experienced Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician
We are a multi-doctor practice looking for an energetic team player who can multitask with a smile. As a Veterinary Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our animal patients and their owners. You will work closely with our Veterinarians to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.
Job Duties:
- Animal restraint
- Administering medications
- X-rays
- Lab work
- Catheter placement
- Blood draws
- Taking care of hospitalized patients
- Assisting Veterinarians with procedures and appointments
- Assisting in surgery
- Keeping the clinic clean

Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician preferred
- At least 1 year of experience working in a veterinary clinic
- Knowledge of animal behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with little direction
