Job Requirements:

-Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses.
-Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.
-Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, and mechanical , electrical and electro-mechanical systems.
-Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.
-Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, supplier and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met.
-Performs root cause and corrective action activities

Position Requirements:

-Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
-10+ years relevant experience
-Must be at least 18 years of age and a US citizen.
-Must be able to obtain unescorted access to the facility through the vetting process as administered by the Department of Army Police.
-Must be able to obtain / maintain DOD Secret security clearance.
-Demonstrated proficiency in communication skills (written, verbal, computer) required.
-Proficient knowledge of ISO standards
-Ability to coordinate, organize and assign work
-Must be able to work independently or with minimum oversight to address responsibilities.
-Must have good time management skills.
-Demonstrated ability to lead and work collaboratively in a teaming environment with unionized workforce to support customer and manufacturing requirements.
-Experience in statistical analysis of data trending desired.

Working Conditions & Environment:

-Using ladders and stairs to climb into/onto vehicle structures.
-Climbing, walking, bending, kneeling, standing and stooping.
-Lifting up to 50 lbs.
-This position requires working both in office and manufacturing floor environments.
-Working in and around dust, fumes, oils, mists, adhesives and in areas with a high noise volume.
-Working in hot and cold environments.
