Job description

Homes for Independent Living (HIL) is looking for experienced Behavioral Caregivers to join our team. You will provide direct care for adults with disabilities and behavioral challenges through individualized behavioral service plans.

As our Caregiver you will:

• Help clients with daily living activities
• Redirect challenging behaviors
• Ensure a safe and secure environment
• Maintain structured boundaries at all times
• Assist with personal cares as needed
• Medication administration
• Meal preparation

• Extra $1/hr. for 2nd shift and extra $2/hr for weekends

Qualifications: 

• At least 18 years of age
• Passion for client care
• Patient, compassionate, and reliable
• Prior experience with aggressive behaviors a plus
