Job description
Ashburn Veterinary Hospital, an AAHA accredited hospital, and the Feline Medical Care Center, a feline-exclusive practice in Ashburn, VA, are looking for a licensed veterinary technician. We are looking for individuals with at least 2 years surgical, dental, exam room and client education experience. We need individuals who love working with both canine and feline patients and are dedicated to providing exceptional service as well as educating clients regarding wellness and preventive care.
Our hospitals place a great deal of emphasis on preventive care and client experience and creating lasting bonds with our clients and patients. Individuals should be able to multi-task, possess great attention to detail, have excellent verbal communication and work as part of a team.
Skills/Qualifications
Knowledge of animal behavior (both canine and feline), documentation skills, ability to analyze medical information, clinical skills, knowledge regarding illnesses, diseases and preventive care as well as ability to perform diagnostic procedures, and use medical equipment such as digital x-ray.
