IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN Job description :
- Provides remote technical support for project workstations and associated hardware and software.
- Troubleshoots standard software and hardware questions, issues, problems and failures.
- Identifies complex issues, and interfaces with more senior Service Desk staff for investigation and resolution.
- Support functions in the Grapevine, TX office related to the intake and evaluation of returned equipment inventories, the distributions of new and refurbished equipment, and the tracking and follow-up of these assets on behalf of the client.
- Works to develop an understanding of standard issues, questions, and problems with the Texas VIC program standard workstations, personal computers, software, and associated hardware and the resolutions to those matters.
- Follows policies, procedures, and standards in responding to end-user requests and providing end-user support.
- Documents and reports all service requests and their outcome, following standard procedures and practices.
- Perform inventory control to monitor and maintain warehouse stock levels of replacement equipment and peripherals.
