Job Summary:

The Specialist, Sensitive Information Protection reports into the Senior Manager, based in Glendale, and is responsible for driving and supporting the execution of all functions within the team’s primary areas of responsibility including Training, Awareness and Communications, Third Parties, Incident Response and Discovery/Optimization, in support of the broader Disney Consumer Products (“DCP”) initiatives within the SIP group. - Responsible for maintaining and handling program partners and key operational contacts across Disney Consumer Products. These relationships must be used to acquire information relating to the efficiency of existing services, and find opportunities to better support these groups through service improvement or implementation of additional services, within or complementary to the Sensitive Information Protection and its governance framework
- Participate in the development of program strategies and, through open communication and collaboration with business unit contacts, maintain outstanding services to our partners
- Handle incident intakes and related documentations
- Manage the creation of monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reporting for internal Global Security needs as well as business partners from Studios and DCP
- Ensure that third party partners are both documented and that their staff are adequately trained prior to accessing any sensitive Disney assets.
- Resolve, implement, and leverage right fit program management methodologies to ensure accurate tracking and reporting for.
- Responsible for handling and updating the DCP SIP website, email inbox and related Project tracking tools.
- Support and ensure implementation of SIP protocols and guidelines for DCP related events pertaining to pre-release content or embargoed projects.
- Maintain incident tracker using SIMS tool
- Memorialize leaks for reusability and documentation
- Build quarterly extensive leaks reports and presentation materials and decks used for quarterly updates with key partners
- Build other ad-hoc quarterly reports as needed
- Collate all potential leak triggering events data and validate them, from DCP partners on a monthly basis
- Output data into a monthly DCP Content Security Report for Studios, Consumer Products and Franchise executives
- Support third party security assessment process and licensee engagement efforts
- Ensure licensees entered using the internal Walt Disney Studios GRC platform and ensure training and help remediate potential GRC platform issues
Here is what you will need to be successful in the role...
- +3 years of professional experience in organizational management, communications, and/or related experience
- Experience in successfully implementing and supporting projects from inception through completion
- Presentation development and in redefining requirements into a final deliverable
- Ability to work in a fast-evolving global environment and to adapt to new technologies and trends
- Anticipate business needs and meet deliverables in scope, on time, and on budget with good business acumen
- Willing to travel to support company events such as Licensing Expo and other related events
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

The hiring range for this position in California is $77,100.00 - $103,400.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
