Entry Level Account Manager

At Barkley Reserve, we are a tight-knit team that thrives on building each other up! The ideal Entry Level Account Manager is someone who enjoys a team environment, has a sportsmanship mentality, an impeccable work ethic, and strives to exceed goals.

Barkley Reserve’s marketing and sales representatives meet with specific and qualified customers across the Greenville market, acting as the direct representation of our clients’ brands. We do all our sales in person because it allows for clear communication and avoids misunderstandings. Our face-to-face approach creates a personalized experience that has proven to increase customer satisfaction.

Entry Level Account Manager Job Functions :

Engage with customers, in-person, in a professional, friendly manner

Operates as the point of contact for assigned customers in your given sales territory on behalf of two major companies in the telecom and smart-home industries

Generate sales among customer accounts

Answer customer queries and identifies new business opportunities

Work with the team on sales goals and business development needs

At Barkley Reserve, our expertise and training focus on two main areas: communication and entrepreneurialism. More than just training intricate product knowledge and sales techniques, we teach our team the art of conversation from the most basic to understanding hand gestures and eye contact. We show our team what being an entrepreneur is about and how to balance one’s drive and desire to succeed without burning out or spreading oneself too thin.

Skills of the ideal Entry Level Account Manager:

Strong interpersonal skills

A polite, friendly and diplomatic manner

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Good negotiation skills

The ability to generate ideas

The ability to prioritize and manage several different tasks at once

BS Degree is preferred but not required with relevant work experience

Ability to work full-time and reliably commute to the office

0-3 years of relevant work experience (especially working with customers; restaurant and retail experience is a major plus!)
