Job description
Adecco Medical & Science is hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Pine Brook, NJ ! This role is on site/in person. Please read below and apply with a resume for consideration:
Type: 6+ month contract, possibility for extension or fulltime offer
Schedule: 3 pm to 11:30 pm, Sunday - Thursday, 40 hours a week
Pay: $22.67 to $24.67 an hour
Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician: • Responsible for retrieving medication from stock, counting and packaging orders for pharmacist review.
• Maintaining work stations with adequate supplies, removing outdated products from shelves, assisting with inventory replenishment, and maintaining par levels of pre-packaged auxiliary items.
• Occasionally you may be asked to reach out to patients for customer service calls as well as making inquiries on orders shipped.
• Process and fill prescription orders in preparation for pharmacist verification
• Some packing and shipping of completed prescription orders to patients.
• Maintain drug inventory and automated dispensing units.
• Replenish workstation supplies for filling prescriptions as needed (includes vials, caps, labels, etc.)
• Work within multiple computer systems simultaneously as you respond to questions or provide specific medication details / clinical information.
Qualifications for the Pharmacy Technician: - High School Graduate or GED required
- Pharm Tech license in New Jersey required
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- PTCB national CPhT License is a plus
- Previous experience working in a mail order setting is a plus
