Title- Senior-PMP Program Manager
Location- Onsite in Tallahassee, Florida. (Local or Anywhere in US who can Relocate)

State or Federal Govt. experience preferred.

We are recruiting for a Senior-PMP Program Manager for our client, The State of Florida Government - Department of Financial Services (ONSITE) in Tallahassee, Florida.
This is similar to Project Manager but needs leadership experience managing large projects.
Generally more than 15+ years of experience.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field. or equivalent work experience.
Project Management certification.
A minimum of 10 years of IT and business/industry work experience, with at least 3 years of leadership experience and 5 years managing projects and/or project portfolios. Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with technical and Department staff.
Proficient in English language.
Experience in directing and mentoring a team of program managers, project managers, portfolio managers and/or other project management staff. Experience in defining and developing enterprise-wide IT project/program management practices, governance standards, processes and metrics.
Experience in ensuring projects/programs are defined, tracked and communicated in a consistent and effective manner.
Experience in incorporating effective change and risk management controls.
Experience in ensuring all projects within IT portfolios/programs are delivered on time, within budget and to an agreed quality level.Job tags
