BUDGET ANALYST I Location Sunrise, FL : POSITION GOAL To perform assigned functions of a routine nature, working under immediate supervision. Under specific direction, to assist in preparing operating budgets for units or departments based on actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, expense reports and other factors. To review expenditures to ensure conformance to budgetary limitations and maintain records of expenses and budget balances. To maintain records of actual operating figures for comparison with estimated budget. To assist in installation of budgetary control systems. ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE An earned associate's degree from an accredited institution. A minimum of two (2) years experience and/or training in the field related to the title of the position. Computer skills as required for the position. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE An earned bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. No minimum years of experience required. Preferred degree majors include accounting or field related to the title of the position. Prefer work experience in finance, accounting or budgeting. Bilingual skills preferred.
