POSITION: Meaningful Day Program Manager (Exempt), NC
SUPERVISED BY: Director of Meaningful Day Services
POSITIONS SUPERVISED: Occupational Training Specialist
LOCATION: Burlington, NC
SALARY:
REQUIREMENTS: BA required, QP Status Required, 3 yrs professional experience preferred (minimum 2 yrs. with IDD population, coaching & training), Knowledge and experience in the field. RESPONSIBILITES & DUTIES
Supervision of Staff - Monitor staffing levels and workload assignments
- Site and program responsibility for goals and outcomes
- Responsible for all safety/security guidelines and adherence at facilities
- Monitor Client/family satisfaction and treatment outcomes.
- Ensure the use of person-centered planning
Supervision of Employee Services - Review all consumer service/grid notes in a timely manner
- Initiate Authorizations and reauthorizations
- Meet with the Team to create and update PCPs
- Review all verification/documentation of services for appropriate signatures and documentation per the NC DHHS Records Management and Documentation Manual.
GENERAL DUTIES
- Complete significant event and incident reports within at least 24 hours (recipient and employee/contractor); IRIS reports.
- Provide privacy and confidentiality of all participants’ records.
- Assure participants are free from abuse, mistreatment, and/or neglect and report such incidents to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with the VR/Community team and provide support, documentation, and a good working relationship with community staff.
- Treat each participant with dignity and respect.
- Provide a positive atmosphere that facilitates growth and learning of coping skills.

- Excellent communication skills (oral and written); professional and presents well when interacting with Service Recipients, Family Members, Team Members, other stakeholders as wells as community members
