Transport and Warehouse Agent - WOR
Transport Agents are responsible for carrying out all transport procedures, executing deliveries, and ensuring road/vehicle compliance. The transport agent is a key member of the Inventory and Logistics Department, under the Inventory Manager. This individual will be responsible for transporting cannabis products to other licensed operators throughout the state of Massachusetts for approximately 20-40 hours per week (subject to change). A high level of responsibility and dependability is needed for this role, as this individual will be ensuring compliance across the transportation function of the Inventory and Logistics Department. Transport Agents are the face of Temescal Wellness to both internal and external customers, and are expected to conduct themselves with the utmost professionalism. Schedule will be dependent on delivery needs; may be required to work more than 8 hours but not less than 3 hours. Drivers must take a 30 minute break for every 6 hours worked, without compromising compliance with cannabis transport.
Responsibilities
● Ensure compliance and accuracy of transport SOPs
● Execute loading and unloading procedures as scheduled, in a timely manner
● Ensures deliveries arrive at their destination safely, successfully, and at the scheduled time
● Ensure van cameras and equipment are in working condition and recording correctly
● Upload delivery van camera footage daily to the appropriate archive
● Adhere to all road regulations, compliance, and requirements as required by the state
● Log mileage of delivery vehicle daily upon arrival at destinations and the production facility
Requirements:
● At least 21 years of age
● High energy, enthusiasm and the willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done. ● Professional and friendly demeanor while communicating or interfacing with any customers or fellow employees of the company.
● Ability to work in a fast paced environment with uniformity
● Basic computer and data entry skills
● Experience with G Suite
● Good time management skills
● Works well in a team environment
● Ability to drive for long periods of time
● Ability to lift up to 50lbs
● Ability to operate a mid-range size vehicle
● Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
● Ability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods
● Can physically lift up to, not exceeding, 50lbs
● Ability to complete multiple projects with excellent follow-through
● Strong verbal communication skills
● Advanced proficiency with METRC seed-to-sale software
● A valid Massachusetts CLASS D driver's license
● Clean Driving History
● Excellent driving skills in all road conditions
● Excellent knowledge of state transport regulations and requirements
● Excellent Communication Skills
● Responsible, accountable, and dependable
● Excellent attention to detail
● Familiarity with Massachusetts policies and regulations governing recreational/medical cannabis production
● Outstanding problem solver

Work Hours:
Your work schedule will vary depending upon the needs of Temescal Wellness. At this time, this role is a full-time position. Your specific schedule will vary depending on the needs of the business, but please keep in mind that regular and consistent attendance at your scheduled hours is a requirement of the position.
