Job Opening The Lockwood Group is currently looking for a Logistician to support a C4ISR customer at SigMod Facility, Augusta, GA.
Responsibilities - Focus of this position will be on SigMod and DIRECT logistic and Project Management procedures necessary to operate the SigMod warehouse
- Support will be conducted in conjunction with and at the direction of the PM WIN-T PdM Inc 1 Extension Group and CECOM FSB leadership
- Candidate will be responsible for providing support at all of the customer's locations, activities may be conducted at the Augusta, GA facility or on-site as required
- Additionally, candidate will analyze and diagnose problems related to the logistic and Project Management aspects of the SigMod and DIRECT projects
- Candidate will be able to work independently and as a team member
- Candidate will be responsible for reporting issues, changes and development status in accordance with the Project Communications Management Plan
- Conduct project work in a safe and professional manner
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
- Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
- Responsible for overseeing the inventory management process
- Accomplishes strategic objectives by overseeing multiple project activities
Requirements - Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, under stress and within time constraints
- Excellent project and time management skills; proven ability to function independently and make the best use of time, as well as collaborate with a team
- Obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
- Obtain and maintain a current United States Passport
- Up to 10% travel- CONUS/OCONUS
