This role is to be classified as hybrid and will be filled in Hartford, CT. Other locations may be considered
Position Summary
In this role as Manager – HCB FP&A business, you will report to the Lead Director of HCB FP&A. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning for HCB with a primary focus on the Gov’t Services Businesses. This role will work closely with Medicare & Medicaid Business finance teams and the Medicare/Medicaid CFOs and will act as a strategic financial partner, providing forecasting, guidance, reporting, analysis and financial controls, relative to the business’s budget(s). You will be responsible for understanding the drivers of the financial information, developing tools to enable financial modeling and comparisons of forecasts. You should use your ability to build strong relationships to work as part of a collaborative team working across departments to deliver on key enterprise initiatives. You will have opportunities to work with internal business partners in a role with strong growth potential within the department, and within the company. The successful candidate should exhibit strong communication skills, and the ability to consolidate/report results to business partners and financial management. This individual will be expected to be able to multi-task and prioritize multiple activities and responsibilities in a fast paced environment, with ability to work independently within guidance frame defined by management.
Carries out financial planning and/or analysis of projects of varying nature and complexity which may include: financial metrics, process improvement initiatives, competition, investments, etc
Collaborate with senior leadership and Business CFOs to drive the creation of the forecasts, budget and strategic plan.
Responsible for ad-hoc analysis and creative solutions to help achieve high-level Enterprise goals
Develop impactful financial recommendations for executive leadership
Technical knowledge of financial systems (Hyperion, S4, etc..)
Leverage strong financial modeling skills (Excel and advanced functions like Macros, Index Match etc)
Lead in the development of ad-hoc analyses and actionable recommendations for senior leadership
Leverage strong communication and presentation skills
Require the ability to influence areas outside of direct control
Continuous process improvement and leveraging of technology
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Experience leading project teams and presenting to senior leadership
Experience designing and executing process improvements
Required Qualifications
-Minimum of 5 years work experience.
-Understanding of financial systems (Hyperion, S4, Oracle, etc).
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
-Deep Understanding of financial systems (Hyperion, S4, Oracle, etc).
-Effectively employ both written and interpersonal skills in accomplishing responsibilities.
-Strong attention to detail & Proven team player with ability to work with all levels of colleagues, including managers and peers.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$63,300.00 - $139,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
