InsuranceStaffing.com is a leading staffing and recruiting firm in the insurance industry, specializing in recruitment services for insurance professionals. We are currently seeking a skilled Commercial Lines Account Manager to join an Independent Insurance Agency that has been serving Vallejo, CA for over 60 years. This position is replacing an employee that is retiring after 22 years.
Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
Policy Management:
- Handle the end-to-end process of commercial lines insurance policies.
- Review and analyze policy coverage to ensure client needs are met.
Renewals and Endorsements:
- Manage policy renewals and endorsements efficiently.
- Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms and conditions.
Risk Assessment:
- Assess and evaluate potential risks associated with client accounts.
- Provide risk management recommendations to clients.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager or similar role in the insurance industry.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial lines insurance products and policies.
- Excellent client management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in industry-specific software and tools.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CIC, CPCU) are a plus.
