Description:

This worldwide manufacturing leader of rubber, plastic and chemical products, located in Plainfield, IL. manufactures and produces a variety of plastic compounds used in multiple industries (i.e., thermoplastics, custom compounds, plastic adhesives, bioplastics, etc.) There products can be found in home/consumer goods, automotive industries, etc. This company is hiring for Sit-Down Forklift operators within their shipping department.

Job Description:

• Candidates must have Sit down Forklift experience
• Typical day will be 75% forklift and 25% general production
• Candidates will do full pallet picking/gaylords with the sit-down forklift
• Candidates will do some individual case pick when needed
• Candidates will be responsible for labeling pallets with correct Purchase order ticker
• Will be responsible for shrink wrapping pallets manually
• Will be responsible for collecting appropriate paperwork from freight carriers
• Steel toes are required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Shift/Pay:

• 2nd shift- 2pm-10:30pm (Mon-Fri) OT is available on Saturdays
• $19 per hour
