Job description
Boise State University Department of Biological Sciences seeks to fill one Clinical Assistant Professor (non-tenure track) position at Boise State University. The position is eligible for promotion to the associate and full level. The primary teaching duties will include a variety of molecular biology courses, such as Introductory Cell and Molecular Biology, Genetics, Microbiology, Bioinformatics, or Cell Biology Lab. The position assignment is approximately 80% teaching and 20% departmental service. Teaching Faculty play a critical role in developing curricula. They manage laboratory courses and support the teaching of graduate student teaching assistants. They advance the University's mission of providing student-centered, quality education and are committed to the success of our students and the university. Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Molecular/Cellular Biology, Genetics, or a related field, and prior teaching experience.
