Engineering Internship

We are looking for an Engineering Intern for our Wichita, KS location with a positive attitude who works under the guidance of an experienced staff member. Works closely with department personnel to ensure that correct and complete information is captured for all activities. The internship is June to August.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with processing and documentation specific to transportation of hazardous material, including but not limited to: creating manifests, waste profiling and printing.
• From the branch, assist local sales and service team members as they complete local and regional hazardous waste projects.
• Help set-up, organize, and maintain the office filing system including confidential data.
• Assemble and analyze information, prepare reports, manuals, agendas and correspondence
• Support experienced employees to help them complete the daily technical and non-technical responsibilities.

• 0 to 3 years’ experience
• Enrolled in a current Bachelor Degree in a Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering or Recent Graduate preferred
• Highly organized and detail oriented 
• Must work well in a team
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Goal and task oriented
• MS Office Suite
• Computer Savvy
